3D Printing & Prototyping

Before the mold is milled, the idea has to work. In our German prototyping center, we manufacture functional 3D-printed prototypes for aerosol systems — fast, precise, and fillable with your real formulation.

Available Technologies

TechnologyMaterialToleranceApplicationLead Time
FDM (in-house)PLA, ABS, PETG±0.1mmGeometry check, first functional test3–5 days
SLAPhotopolymers±0.05mmPrecision geometry, seal testingon request
SLSPA (Nylon)±0.1mmWear-resistant prototypes, small partson request

FDM is offered directly in Germany. Additional technologies (SLA, SLS, MJF, Metal) are available on request and on a project basis.

From CAD Model to Prototype

Step 1

CAD Data Transfer

You send us your CAD model (STEP, IGES, STL) or a sketch. We check feasibility and provide an initial assessment within 24 hours.

Step 2

Print Preparation

We select the appropriate technology and material, optimize the orientation and support structure for your specific geometry.

Step 3

Functional Test & Delivery

The printed prototype is filled with your formulation and tested for dose amount, seal integrity, and functionality. You receive the prototype plus a test report.

Typical Use Cases

Geometry Validation

Verification of can, piston, and valve geometry before commissioning the expensive injection mold.

Dosing Characteristics

Measurement of dose amount and accuracy under real conditions with your formulation.

Material Compatibility

Testing the chemical compatibility between can material and product over defined time periods.

User Acceptance

Prototypes for market research and user testing. Tactile experience of the dosing process before series investment.

Your prototype. In 3–5 days.
